Shipper contracts a cargo forwarder who will ensure the consignment compiles with all customs regulations and other applicable laws. The cargo forwarder will book a flight with THAI Cargo. Routing and date of shipment will be confirmed, plus details of cargo i.e. nature of commodity, number of pieces and weight/dimensions.
The cargo forwarder will arrange transportation and delivery between shipper and THAI Cargo depot, and the same time ensure the consigment is packed to withstand normal handling and is correctly labeled. The cargo undergoes security checks and customs processing prior to being stowed in a container/pallet which is then loaded onto the aircraft. THAI Cargo flies the consigment to destination airport. Consigment or Shipment is unloaded and cleared through Import Customs before delivery to consignee.
