With effective from 01 October 2006, TG has adjusted the new structure of fuel surcharge from the current temporary structure.This new structure has been approved by the Civil Aviation Board on 27th September 2006 which are as follow:
- TC1, TC2 and South West Pacific
- - All items (except agricultural products), will be started at 6THB/kg.
- - Agricultural products will be charged at a half of above charged.
- TC3 and Middle East
- - All items (except agricultural products), will be charged at a half of all items of TC1,TC2 and South West Pacific.
- - Agricultural products will be implemented at a half of above charged.
Details of fraction calculation :
- The fraction of Baht equal or greater than 0.50 shall be rounded up to 1.00 Baht.
- The fraction of Baht less than 0.50 shall be rounded down.

Average 15 days fuel price and fuel index
These fuel surcharge will be adjusted according to the fuel price index. Details of new surcharge structure are shown below :
Fuel Price Index exceeds 125 for an average 15 days :
- For shipment to TC1, TC2 and South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be implemented to all items at 6 THB/kg. except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be implemented at 3 THB/kg.
- For shipment to TC3 except South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be implemented to all items at 3 THB/kg. except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be implemented at 2 THB/kg.
Fuel Price Index exceeds 150 for an average 15 days :
- For shipment to TC1, TC2 and South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 9 THB/kg on all items except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 5 THB/kg
- For shipment to TC3 except South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 5 THB/kg. except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be implemented at 3 THB/kg.
Fuel Price Index exceeds 175 for an average 15 days :
- For shipment to TC1, TC2 and South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 11 THB/kg on all items except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 6 THB/kg.
- For shipment to TC3 except South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 6 THB/kg. except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 3 THB/kg.
Fuel Price Index exceeds 200 for an average 15 days :
- For shipment to TC1, TC2 and South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 14 THB/kg on all items except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 7 THB/kg.
- For shipment to TC3 except South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 7 THB/kg. except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 4 THB/kg.
Fuel Price Index exceeds 225 for an average 15 days :
- For shipment to TC1, TC2 and South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 16 THB/kg on all items except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 8 THB/kg.
- For shipment to TC3 except South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 8 THB/kg. except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be adjusted to 4 THB/kg.
Fuel Price Index exceeds 250 for an average 15 days :

- For shipment to TC3 except South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be reduced to a level of 5 THB/kg. except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be reduced to a level of 3 THB/kg.
Fuel Price Index at 125 or below for an average 15 days :
- For shipment to TC1, TC2 and South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be reduced on all items to a level of 6 THB/kg. except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be reduced to a level of 3 THB/kg.
- For shipment to TC3 except South West Pacific, fuel Surcharge will be reduced to a level of 3 THB/kg. except agricultural products, fuel Surcharge will be reduced to a level of 2 THB/kg.
- Fuel Price Index below 100 for an average 15 days, Fuel Surcharge will be suspended.
- All changes to the Fuel Surcharge will take place on the 1st or 16th of the month.
Remark :
1. Index 100 = 60 US Cents/Gallon.
2. Fuel Surcharge is based on chargeable weight.
3. For Shipments of Time Definite for perishable Product (TGFresh), Fuel Surcharge will be charged at a half of Agricultural Products' rates.
