Bangkok-Copenhagen-Phuket The launch of new intercontinental services, as of 11 Nov 2011 introducing TG 952/953 on sector Bangkok-Copenhagen-Phuket, 3 flights weekly with Boeing 747, allow us to facilitate the efficient global network connection. Bangkok- Brussels The newest introduction of flight TG 934/935 direct between Bangkok and Brussels, 3 flights weekly will be operated using B77E equipment, scheduled from 17 November 2011, onward. This is to enhance the capacity and to expand European network. THAI Airways International has its global network of more than 70 destinations all over the world. Preparation by THAI Cargo to Cope with Floodwater Arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport Area
Flood in the northern and central parts of Thailand recently causes heavy concerns of its impact to THAI’s cargo services at our BKK’s Suvarnabhumi airport. THAI’s Cargo Terminal Operations Department is now monitoring level of floodwater arriving at surrounding area of the airport as well as closely coordinate with functions concerned to evaluation the situation. A plan to handle crisis has been prepared.
At the same time, to be ready for the crisis, THAI’s Cargo and Mail Commercial Department is preparing to set up “ Cargo Crisis Operations Center “ ( CCOC ) with well–informed staff from various functions to receive reports and coordinate with authorities in order to immediately solve problems arising from the floodwater at the airport area .
