PM Presided Over The First Delivery of COVID-19 Vaccine to Thailand
General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister, presided over the first delivery of COVID-19 Vaccine to Thailand, which the first 200,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses manufactured by Sinovac Biotech Company Limited was delivered. Also present at the ceremony were Mr. Yang Xin, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister, Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Finance Minister, Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, Transport Minister, Mr. Santi Promphat, Deputy Minister of Finance, Dr. Satit Pitutecha, Deputy Minister of Public Health, Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin, Chairman of the Rehabilitation Planner, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), and honorable guests.
With use of THAI’s A350-900, Cargo flight TG675 departed from Beijing at 05.50 hours (local time) and arrived in Bangkok at 10.05 hours (local time) on 24 February 2021. THAI is ready and prepared to support the vaccine delivery mission, and its continual endeavor will play a critical role in the recovery of the Thai economy, the industry sector and public safety.
