Mr. Kittiphong Sansomboon, Chief Commercial Officer of THAI Airways International, together with the Head of Cargo & Mail Commercial and the Head of Sales for France, Italy, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, recently visited Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to engage with key business partners across airport management, ticket distribution, and air cargo sectors. The visit aimed to exchange market insights, explore emerging trends, and reinforce strategic cooperation in the European market.
During the visit, the delegation met with senior executives of Royal Schiphol Group, including Patricia Vitalis, Chief Operating Officer; Wilco Sweijen, Airline Partnerships Director; Garcia Sanz, Manager Handlers & Airside Cargo; and Pia van Voorst tot Voorst, Customer Support Manager. Discussions focused on industry outlook, route network development, operational efficiency, and long-term collaboration opportunities. The delegation hosted an exclusive Business Lunch with senior executives from leading ticketing distributors in the Netherlands—exchanging insights on travel trends between Europe and Thailand, listening to partner feedback, and exploring future opportunities to expand commercial collaboration across Asia.
On the same occasion, the delegation also engaged with cargo agents in Amsterdam to discuss the air freight market landscape, customer needs, and growth trends across Europe. Insights gained from these discussions will help Thai Airways further enhance its cargo products and services to better meet market demand.
